UV-Cure Fly-Tie Pro Roadie Kit 0.5 oz

All three of our Solarez fly-tie UV resins; Thin-Hard, Thick-Hard, & FLEX formulas. Each comes in a 0.5 oz bottle with cone-cap, and 8 different style applicators – ample resin for many lures. Also included is a UV-Cure High Output flashlight with optimal wavelength.

Usage Tip:

Apply in the shade. Irradiate with intense UV light for ONE SECOND. Wait 15 seconds. Irradiate again for one second. Wait. Complete with 30 full seconds of UV light. This technique will reduce heat & shrinkage.

Differences and details about the torches contained in our kits:

The “Resinator” is a flashlight, battery, and charger KIT - no resin. The “High-Output” Torch is the same torch that is in the Resinator kit. It has a very strong 2.5” diameter beam generated by a 5W Korean 385nm chip. There are no other flashlights on the market with 5W Korean chips under $129. There are no other 385nm Korean chip flashlights at all.

The “Pro Roadie” kit has an outstanding torch in it; not as large as the Resinator torch but still uses the same hefty 3.7V 18650 battery (although it does not come with a battery). It has an equally powerful beam but 20% smaller than the RESINATOR, but ample though for fly tying.

The “Roadie” kit contains a small but powerful flashlight that uses a single AA battery to drive a 3W Korean 385nm chip. It is a very reliable torch with the correct wavelength for Solarez resins at a power rating equal to torches selling for >$79.
